Wound Dressings

Hydrocolloid Wound dressings provide a physical barrier to external contamination and intrusive elements and create a moist environment that facilitates wound management and healing.

Hydrocolloids are wound dressings that contain gel-forming agents. These agents are combined with elastomers and applied to a carrier, such as polyurethane foam or film, to form an absorbent, self-adhesive, water resistant wafer.

Hydrocolloids enhance healing by supporting the body’s natural mechanisms, stimulating the development of new blood vessels, and maintaining a moist environment to support cell growth.
