Technical Mechanic

Reports directly to Production Night Manager.

Primary Responsibilities
Maintenance, Repairs, and Calibration

• Repairs and maintenance of all production equipment according to SOPs.
• Checking of calibration records to and taking appropriate actions to correct any deficiencies.
• Gather historical information.
• Assure that procedures and work instructions are followed and that they meet regulatory demands

General Technical Responsibilities

• Assist production in repair, assembly or other work to improve and keep processes running smoothly
• Changeovers of packaging equipment and Laminators.
• Assist in buying and selling of equipment.
• Shop maintenance, cleaning and organization.
• Cartoner and Laminator changeovers.
• Assist in all facility maintenance.
• Projects.

Requirements

• Knowledge and understanding of basic electrical and electronics circuits. Understanding of schematics.
• Experience with web, converting, and laminating equipment.
• Knowledge and experience with mechanical components and maintenance.
