Project Engineer Level I

Purpose of Position
This position was created to manage new product development projects at Euromed Inc. The selected candidate will be expected to work in a variety of product development projects that will be related to, but not limited to the field of wound care management. The candidate will be part of a research based team building effort that will help the company grow in its ability to innovate, develop and market new products.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage 2 or more product development projects
- Training in use of laboratory equipment and conducting lab testing
- Conduct in-house trials of new product concepts, submit samples for clinical/quality testing and analyze results
- Generate reports and design records, present results to team
- Attend team meetings and plan progress and development of projects
- Training and implementation of design control procedures
- Implementation of regulatory requirements for project completion including ISO 13485/9001 Quality management system requirements
Reporting and Managing
This position reports to the Product Development Engineer/Chemist
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelors degree in an engineering/scientific discipline with working knowledge of using lab equipment
- 1-2 years experience working in a medical device company with basic project management skills
- Skills: Experience using various applications/tools of Microsoft office, mainly Word and Excel. Additional knowledge of other software is a bonus.
