Production Inspector


Primary Responsibilities

  • Complete In-Process Inspection every 15 minutes.
  • 100% Visual Inspection.
  • Inform to Operator and/or Supervisor any abnormalities during production.
  • Verify products quality resulting in products that comply within Product Specification
  • Verify and Approved (If Q.C. Inspector is not available) the In-line Print and verify the Quality of the print (legible, clean and clear). The In-Line Print or Sticker with barcode should be scanned
  • Completion of Line Clearance.
  • Collect the first five approved products and the last five approved products (Samples) from each lot and given to Quality Control Technician for the Seal Strength Testing.
  • Documented in the Lot Number Route Card any problems or abnormalities encountered during the production.
  • Complete all Paperwork.
  • Verify every five minutes the Release Liner and this result is documented in the Lot Number Route Card.
  • Stack good products in gray bins.
  • Inform to Sorters when the products are out of Specification.
  • Separate all Non-conforming Products during production

Sorter Primary Responsibilities

  • Sort for product defects at a minimum of 1000 products per hour
  • Inform the laminator operator of any defects
  • Stack good product in gray bins
  • Complete paperwork for your bins
  • Discard defective products in red bins
  • Count defective product by type of product
  • Complete defective product paperwork

Additional Responsibilities

  • Clean floor when counting for the laminator is complete
  • Count defective products
  • Clean areas around the machine’s surfaces, etc
  • Clean gray bins from the airlock/airlocks

Packer Primary Responsibilities

  • 100% visual inspection on retail boxes and trays
  • Making certain that the label is placed in the correct place.
  • Placing the retail boxes in the shippers
  • Place the correct amount of the retail boxes in the shippers
  • Verify the labels before placing in the shippers (Product Code, Lot Number & Expiration Date)

Ensure that the retail box or trays are

  • Completely sealed
  • Show no visible glue or dirt
  • Labeled
  • Completely sealed, with no holes in the tray
  • Clean and free of dust or dirt
  • Making sure that the retail box is raised straight
  • Make two inspections in each production

Experience, Knowledge, and Skills

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • 1- 3 years hands-on experience operating manufacturing machines or in a production environment.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to work overtime.
  • Flexibility to work Day or Night Shift
  • Demonstrated ability to read, understand, and apply the information contained on technical documentation, procedures.
