Wildnauer Named to Board of Directors by EuroMed
Company supporting ongoing growth through increased strategic leadership
Orangeburg, NY, February 23, 2010 – EuroMed Inc. today announced the appointment of Richard H. Wildnauer, Ph.D. to its Board of Directors as part of its ongoing efforts to support the firm’s growth. EuroMed is a leading designer and manufacturer of wound care management products, and one of a select few custom hydrocolloid manufacturers providing comprehensive private labeling services.
Robert Jensen, EuroMed’s senior Board member said, “Dr. Wildnauer brings significant value to the leadership of our Board in that he has over 39 years of experience in the dermatological, cosmeceutical and pharmaceutical industries. As the founder of RHW Associates LLC, he also has a proven track record in guiding venture capital, investment bank and private equity firms as well as small dermatological/cosmeceutical companies. His insight will be key to EuroMed’s plans in building for the future.”
In addition to his services as a private industry consultant, Dr. Wildnauer was formerly president and CEO of NeoStrata Company, Inc., where he oversaw the strategic direction, profitability, corporate development and overall leadership of this medium size, privately held dermatological and cosmeceutical company. He also spent 25 years at Johnson & Johnson holding senior executive positions in both R&D and business development spanning its pharmaceutical, dermatological, skin care and wound care businesses.
Dr. Wildnauer is the author of numerous scientific articles on dermatology and skin care and is the inventor of one patented product. He holds a B.S. degree in Chemistry from St. Vincent College, a Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry from West Virginia University and an M.B.A. from Rider University. He served on Boards for NeoStrata Company, Inc., and TriStrata Technologies, Inc. and United Ways of Tri-State (NY, NJ & CT). He currently serves on the Board for CellCeuticals Skincare Inc. and the United Way of Central Jersey.
